It removes it. The encapsulation technology surrounds and neutralizes the odor molecules on contact. It is not a perfume laid over the top. There is a light citrus finish, but the removal is the point.

How do I use it? +
Spray it directly on the source, the sofa, carpet, bedding or car seat. It has to contact the odor to work. Let the area dry.
Will the smell stay gone? +
For a one-off smell, yes. For an ongoing source like a litter area, a dog bed or a smoker's car, spray again as needed. It is honest maintenance, not a one-time miracle.

Directions for use +
