Do I really not have to scrub?+
The foam expands into the gaps and does the agitation. Heavy, caked spots may want a second application. Brushes optional.
Will it hurt wiring, hoses or aluminum?+
It is designed not to damage engine components. Cover exposed electrical connections before rinsing, let the engine cool first, and rinse with plain water.
How do I rinse it?+
A garden hose is fine. The foam lifts and carries the grime so water takes it away. Low pressure is kinder to seals and connectors.
Can I use it on wheels and the mower?+
Yes. Wheels, tires, undercarriage, mower decks and greasy parts on the bench.
Will it strip paint?+
It is a degreaser, not a paint stripper. As with any cleaner, don't let it dry on the surface and rinse as directed.
How long does baked-on grime take?+
Fresh road film lifts in one pass. A few hundred thousand miles of baked-on diesel grime takes two or three. Patience beats a scraper.
Directions for use+
Engine off and cool. Cover exposed electrical connections. Shake well. Spray the foam onto the grime and let it expand and penetrate. Rinse clean with water. Repeat on heavy buildup.
